Do gas stations accept EBT?

A lot of gas stations accept EBT, however like with many grocery stores that accept EBT, you can only use your EBT benefit to pay for certain products. For example, as a beneficiary of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), you can not buy toiletries, over-the-counter medicine, alcohol, or tobacco.

Be prepared with an alternative payment method to fuel your car and purchase any non-eligible items.
